ETA: I figured it out thanks to all the awesome people who took the time to help this noob out! Thank you all so very much!!

So I'm learning how to mesh mod, and I have gotten far enough into attaching body parts and recoloring the textures. But does anyone know how to fix the neck issue? I have searched for tutorials but I can't seem to find anything....

Do I have to edit it in Blender?

Is there a way to "hide" things by recoloring the texture files a certain way? (In the Sims 2 and 3, you could hide certain things by editing the alpha. Is that possible in mesh modding?)

I know I probably sound like a noob but we all start somewhere, right?

- Edit in Blender or 3d max  is the best way, but of course not everybody want to learn this. The importer/export for "poseable" models, written by :iconmariokart64n: is available  here skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=… or here www.tombraiderforums.com/showt… in the "Additional converter" session.

- Like in Sims 2 and 3, you can hide certain things by editing the alpha chanel from the diffuse texture. For XPS, you have Change also the "Render Group Number" (RG), normaly by increment this number. The RG table is here xnalara.home-forum.com/t225-le…

If, for example, your model use RG 24_ then take a look in the "RG table". Search the line with 24 in the first column. Result:

24    | Yes    | No    | Yes      | Yes              | No            | No            | 4        | Diffuse, Lightmap, Bumpmap, Specular                    | 9.42  |
